The Publishing House of Inventors

Our authors don’t just write stories. They write the future

In times when inventors face great difficulties in making their ideas known and finding international partners to help bring their projects forward, Patent Basket Editorial emerges as the publishing house of inventors. Here, inventions are transformed into novels and narratives—literary creations based on non‑simulable creations developed by their own authors. These works guarantee authorial legitimacy, open the door to genuine connections between inventors, readers, and potential partners, generate new knowledge, and redefine our understanding of the world. In every case, literature ceases to be merely a text that tells great stories and becomes a bridge toward transformation, a space where invention finds its voice and culture becomes a vehicle for technological adoption.

B E N E F I T S

Reputational

Authorship is guaranteed, since, being a work based on your invention and signed by you as author or co-author—if you created it with the help of someone else—no critic can claim that your work was artificially created.

Economic

If your invention doesn’t generate the royalties you expected, your book or draft can generate income for your entire life and for 70 more years for your heirs.

Alliances

Your work will be read by people who could be writers who can help you finish your draft or even entrepreneurs who want to market your invention in several countries.

T E S T I M O N I A L S

«Lately, I feel everyone doubts the true authorship of my writing. Patent Basket allowed me to co‑create with an inventor, and although I appear as co‑author, the experience was positive because the inventor contributed great ideas. Best of all, no one now questions the human origin of our literary collaboration. This form of partnership restored legitimacy to my work.»

WrIter.

«I trust my invention will make an impact, but I also know ideas must multiply their paths. That´s why I turned mine into a story and published it with Patent Basket Editorial: If it doesn´t take off through patents, it will through copyright

Invetor.

«Readers today know writers may rely on generative resources. I welcome that, as long as the work preserves an undeniable human origin. On this platform, I can trust that its literary offerings—whether finished or in draft—carry an irrefutable trace of authenticity.»

  • We create bridges between the patent system and copyright

We are the first to support the Creatifiction current, which brings together the patent system and copyright within a shared cultural horizon. Our platform promotes this convergence, providing editorial legitimacy and a space where invention becomes literature.

  • We create collaborative spaces for creators

Thanks to our unique working system, a collaboration emerged between an inventor and a writer. From that encounter, BIROLAMP was born, a clear example of how Creatifiction transforms a technical invention into living literature.

  • We create novels with components impossible to create through algorithmic simulation

Someone told us: “If you’re truly inventors, now invent a way to get your inventions to everyone.” We literally did. That’s how Creatifiction was born: Literature based on inventions.

“And it was in one of those rainy nights, when an idea rested upon my shoulders. It could not be mine, it should not be— yet it was… as my past lives once were.”

WHY ARE WE A DIFFERENT KIND OF PUBLISHER?

We are the evolution of an technology transfer platform, created to support inventors in the process of finding partners before the deadline for claiming their inventions abroad. Our publishing approach maintains its core principle: supporting inventors in these processes. That’s why our rules aren’t those of a conventional publisher.

Drafts accepted

If an inventor waits to finish a book, the deadline for finding partners to help them claim a patent for their invention abroad may pass. Given this urgency, we publish works in progress so that this opportunity doesn’t vanish for the inventor.

Temporarily free circulation

In order to achieve wider dissemination of the invention during the period in which the inventor is seeking international partners to help them claim a patent for their invention, unauthorized distribution of the work is permitted. However, once this period has expired, the work may no longer be distributed without the authors’ authorization.

Use of pseudonyms

This measure prevents potential partners or readers from accessing the patent document using the inventor’s real name. The pseudonym ensures that the narrative experience is the first point of contact with the invention, increasing the likelihood that the reader will want to become part of the project.

Interested in partnering with an inventor who publishes here, but know very little about patents?

Maybe it’s time to play the Machupicchopoly invention fair, an exciting board game about intellectual property and business created by us to help you understand these topics in a fun way.
